This unique Bowl is called a Spalted Maple Bowl. This happens when the tree starts to die and it shoots out alll these black lines in the process. It does not hurt the integrity of the Bowl - just gives it incredible figure in the grain. Very unique. The bowl is 11 3/4” Wide, 3 1/4” High and 3” Deep. Size can vary +/- 1/4”.
