Burls are the large lumps you see sometimes growing on a tree. They are very unique and have beautiful grain patterns and the edge of the piece is the natural bark from the edge of the Burl. It is large enough that you could use it - For example for cheese & crackers or other munchies. The piece is 10" by 12". Size may vary +/- 1/4".
