This bowl is unique in that it comes from Spalted Maple. Spalted happens as the wood is aging. When it has been cut for a long period of time the wood will develop black markings and lines. It makes for a very interesting bowl. The bowl is 9 5/8" Wide, 2 3/8" High and 2" Deep. Size may vary +/- 1/4".
We can personalize any Bowl for you. For example, if it is for a Wedding Present, we often wood burn the Couple's names and Wedding Date on the bottom of the bowl. For this bowl, it may be harder to read due to the markings.
